Name: Vivesh Kochhar & Lovepreet Kaur/Absolute Dollar
Modus Operandi:
Vivesh Kochhar and Lovepreet Kaur will approach your business and say that they own 30 bin stores that are in desparate needs of merchandise the very next day (red flag #1). They will then call you non-stop, trying to lowball. We explained to them that we have three tiers of AMZ General Merchandise pallets, and they agreed to take the lowest-priced ones.
During our FaceTime call the day prior, Vivesh Kochhar and Lovepreet Kaur saw a $450 pallet we assembled for an existing client and asked for these pallets for $400 each. We explained to them how these pallets are for another client (that client has an order of several dozen pallets and the $450 pallets are 'buried' inside, so to speak).
They insisted that we provide them with the $450 pallets. We said, "We could assemble some new $400 pallets for you." That is when Vivesh Kochhar and Lovepreet Kaur initially said yes, but then started to accuse us of scamming them because "If you sell AMZ returns, how can you assemble pallets? We want those four $450 pallets we picked, and we want them now!"
At this point, we said: "If you are unhappy with the $400 pallets we assembled, then fine, unload and let's call off the deal". Vivesh Kochhar and Lovepreet Kaur said that they will take the merchandise and asked their driver to finish loading.
1.5 hours later, we received nearly 50 harassing and threatening messages from Vivesh Kochhar and Lovepreet Kaur. They called our merchandise junk and said they are not from AMZ, while the photos they sent visibly have AMZ return stickers and address labels. The rest of the night is filled with nonstop threatening messages, including: "We will shut you down. You will receive a letter from our lawyer. We will report to DEA, IRS, and the police."
They have also posted across social media, making false allegations, smearing our names, along with nonstop text messages to all of our staff members (we don't even know how....?).
What did we put in these $450 pallets?
2 MSRP $299.99 SMS Drones, 1 brand new baby playpen (currently selling on AMZ and WLMT for ~$200), 100 push fidget toys (~$2.99 retail on AMZ), 2 sets of brand new pots and pans, perfumes, small electronics (lamps, bluetooth speakers, and humidifiers/portable small air conditioners)......And many more.
Consider this a cautionary tale.
